Director at Illinois PIRG.
Brian Imus is responsible for coordinating policy development, research and all public education and outreach efforts.
Mr. Imus has testified before state legislative committees on issues focusing on mercury pollution, improving transportation policy, strengthening utility rights for consumers, and advocating stronger public health protections. He has helped to co-author several reports on a wide range of public interest issues. For example, his report Chemical Compliance, an analysis of toxics found in children’s products, led to the national recall of a children’s toy containing lead.
