Dr. Denison has 25 years of experience in policy, hazard and risk assessment and management for chemicals and nanomaterials. He was recently appointed to the National Academy of Sciences' Board on Environmental Studies and Toxicology. He also serves on the Green Ribbon Science Panel for California’s Green Chemistry Initiative.
Dr. Denison recently testified before the House Energy and Commerce Committee on reform of US chemicals policy. He is the author of Not That Innocent, a comparative assessment of US, Canadian and European chemicals policies, and Ten Essential Elements in TSCA Reform, recently published in Environmental Law Reporter.
Dr. Denison holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University. He joined EDF in 1987, after several years at the U.S. Congress' Office of Technology Assessment.
